Andrew Goodwin (1992) - "Music videos are not primarily a commodity form but a promotional one". Below, I have analysed 20 pop music videos, as we decided to create our own pop music video, to decipher the conventions. By doing this, we will be able to choose what elements would be best to use in our own creation, and which conventions we should stray from, in order to give the desired effect, and stand out from other pop music.
